Game Console Repair
Game console repair in our own workshop
A PS5 that shows no picture, a Switch that won't charge, an Xbox that shuts down from overheating. We repair game consoles down to component level in our workshop on Radonweg in Amersfoort — including consoles you didn't buy from us.
What we repair most often
- HDMI port replacement — no picture on your PS4, PS5 or Xbox. We desolder and replace the port under a microscope, not the whole console.
- Nintendo Switch charging port — won't charge, or only charges while you hold the cable in place.
- Overheating — thermal paste replacement, fan cleaning or replacement for a console that gets loud or shuts down.
- Disc drive not reading — games aren't recognised or the disc is ejected.
- Mainboard repair at chip level — micro-soldering for short circuits, liquid damage or a failed chip.
- Storage replacement or upgrade — a larger SSD, or recovery of a failed drive.
- Controller stick drift — sticks that move on their own without being touched.
You'll know where you stand quickly
Within three working days you'll hear what's wrong, what it costs and how long it takes. If the repair stays under 100 euros we carry it out straight away, so your console isn't sitting idle waiting for approval. Above that amount we message or email you first and you decide.
If we can't repair your console, you pay nothing. And if you go ahead with the repair, the diagnosis is free.
You can drop your console off during opening hours at Radonweg 10 in Amersfoort, or send it in — just indicate that when you submit your request.
We fix what others write off
Micro-soldering under the microscope: from a broken charging connector or HDMI port to a faulty chip on the motherboard. Even if you did not buy the device from us.
