Choosing the right keyboard
When ordering, mind the layout (US or NL qwerty), optional backlighting and the exact model number of your laptop; most models come in several variants. Spilled water or coffee on it? Switch the laptop off immediately and do not turn it back on: the sooner the keyboard is replaced, the smaller the chance of further damage.
Order the part or have it fitted
On some laptops the keyboard simply clips out; on others, half the casing has to come off. Our workshop in Amersfoort does this daily; see keyboard replacement for the options.
