About us
IBO Computers is a computer shop with its own workshop at Radonweg 10 in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. We sell new and refurbished laptops, desktops, workstations, monitors and parts, and we repair computers — including devices that were not bought from us.
Thirty years in the trade
Ibrahim has worked in the computer trade since 1996. Under the name IBO Computers we have been in business since 2016, with our own shop and workshop in Amersfoort. We are a small team of three: no call centre, no being put through, but the same people who sell your device and repair it.
Computers have changed a great deal in those thirty years, but what people expect of them has not: a device that works, an honest story about what you are buying, and someone who picks up when something goes wrong.
Our own workshop
Everything we sell passes through our own workshop first. Every device is tested before it leaves us, and a refurbished device is checked over completely, cleaned, and whatever needs replacing is replaced.
If something does break later, we carry out the repair ourselves, down to component level. So there is no waiting for weeks on an external service centre, and your device does not travel across the country. IBO Computers provides 2 years warranty on laptops, desktops, workstations and monitors.
Honest about the condition
We sell both new and used equipment, and we always tell you what you are buying. Every product carries a condition label, from New Sealed through to Refurbished C, with New Open Box, Demo and Renew in between. The Product condition page explains exactly what each label means.
A refurbished laptop with a small scratch on the lid does the same work as a new one, and costs considerably less. We think you should be able to choose what matters to you — and for that, you first need to know where you stand.
Who we work for
Our customers are private buyers looking for a good laptop at home, freelancers and small businesses buying on invoice, schools and institutions that need larger numbers, and traders who buy from us. If you are looking for ten similar laptops for a classroom or an office, just ask — we will look at what is in stock and what we can arrange.
More than selling
Repairs: from batteries and screens to motherboard repair, in our own workshop in Amersfoort.
Purchase and trade-in: we buy your old equipment, or take it in part-exchange when you buy something else.
On-site service: for businesses we come to you for installation or faults.
Custom builds: we put together PCs and workstations to match what you are actually going to do with them.

You are welcome at Radonweg 10, 3812 RL Amersfoort. You can also collect your order here free of charge. We are open Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:30 and on Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00. We are closed on Sundays.

If you are torn between two models, or unsure which condition suits you, do ask. We would rather sell you the cheaper device that fits than the more expensive one you do not need.
