1. Warranty periods

1.1: IBO Computers provides 2 years warranty on laptops, desktops, workstations and monitors, on new as well as refurbished devices.
1.2: New devices also carry the manufacturer’s warranty. If that period is longer than 2 years, the longest period applies. We handle the process for you — there is no need to contact the manufacturer yourself.
1.3: For separate parts and accessories, such as adapters, batteries, screens, storage and keyboards, the warranty period stated on the product page applies. If no period is stated with the product, a period of 1 year applies.
1.4: On repairs we provide 6 months warranty when a new part has been fitted and 3 months when a used or refurbished part has been fitted. Your work order states which period applies.
1.5: The warranty on a repair covers the work carried out and the replaced part. Other parts of the device are not covered by it.
1.6: All periods start on the invoice date.

2. What the warranty covers

2.1: The warranty covers material and manufacturing faults and defects that stop the product from doing what you may reasonably expect of it.
2.2: We decide whether we repair or replace the product. Repairs are carried out in our own workshop at Radonweg 10 in Amersfoort, down to component level.
2.3: If repair is not possible, you will receive an equivalent replacement product or we will refund the purchase amount.
2.4: Parts and labour are free of charge within the warranty.

3. What the warranty does not cover

3.1: Damage caused by drops or knocks, by moisture, by overheating or by improper use.
3.2: Damage caused by the device being opened or repaired by a party we have not appointed for that purpose.
3.3: Normal wear and tear. A battery that lasts less long over time is normal wear and not a defect.
3.4: Software, operating systems, viruses and loss of data. Always make your own backup before handing a device over to us; we are not liable for loss of data.
3.5: Marks of use that belong to the condition in which the product was sold. The Condition tab on the product page describes which marks these are.

4. How to report a warranty claim

4.1: Please contact us first. We are available day and night via WhatsApp and e-mail ([email protected]). By telephone you can reach us on working days on +31 (0)33 207 5050.
4.2: Please state your invoice or order number and a short description of the fault. A photo or a short video often helps us make the right diagnosis straight away.
4.3: We will let you know whether you can send the product to us or bring it in. Always enclose a copy of the invoice.
4.4: The cost of the shipment to us is at your expense. We pay for the return shipment back to you. Bringing the product in and collecting it at Radonweg 10 in Amersfoort is free of charge.
4.5: If our inspection shows that the fault is not covered by the warranty, we will contact you first. We do not incur any costs without your approval.

5. Legal guarantee and liability

5.1: In addition to the warranty we provide above, you always have the legal guarantee: a product must do what you may reasonably expect of it. These terms do not limit your legal rights.
5.2: Until the moment you receive your order, the risk of shipping is ours. If your parcel arrives damaged or is lost on the way, please report this to us and we will resolve it.
5.3: Our liability for other damage is limited to the amount of the invoice, except in the case of intent or deliberate recklessness and except where the law provides otherwise on mandatory grounds.

6. Right of withdrawal: 14 days

6.1: You have the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason.
6.2: Please report this within those 14 days by e-mail to [email protected]. You may use the model withdrawal form, but you do not have to: a clear notification is sufficient. You will receive a confirmation from us.
6.3: After your notification you have another 14 days to return the product to Radonweg 10, 3812 RL Amersfoort, the Netherlands. Preferably in the original packaging, and in any case packed so that it is not damaged on the way.
6.4: You may unpack the product and assess it as you would in a shop; you may therefore switch a laptop on. If you go further than is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product, we may set off the loss in value against the amount you get back.
6.5: We refund within 14 days, counted from the day on which you report the withdrawal. We may wait to do so until we have received the product back or until you have shown that you have sent it.
6.6: You receive the purchase amount back plus the shipping costs of the original delivery. If you chose a more expensive delivery method than the standard one when ordering, we refund the standard rate. We refund using the same means of payment you used, unless you agree to something else. We do not charge you anything for this.
6.7: The cost of the return shipment is at your expense.
6.8: Please remove your personal data and accounts from the device before you return it, and de-register it from your manufacturer account where necessary.

7. When the right of withdrawal does not apply

7.1: Products that have been built to your specifications or personalised.
7.2: Sealed products that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, where the seal has been broken after delivery. Think of earphones and headsets.
7.3: Software, licences and activation codes of which the seal has been broken or that have been delivered digitally and taken into use.
7.4: The right of withdrawal applies to consumers. If you buy in a company name it does not apply, unless we agree otherwise with you.

8. Final provisions

8.1: Our General Terms and Conditions also apply to these warranty and return terms.
8.2: All agreements with IBO Computers are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
8.3: If you are not satisfied with the way your case has been handled, please let us know through our Complaints Procedure. If we cannot resolve it together, you may bring the dispute before the competent court in the Netherlands.
8.4: These terms are also available in Dutch. This English text is a translation for information purposes; in the event of any difference between the two texts, the Dutch text prevails.
8.5: IBO Computers, Radonweg 10, 3812 RL Amersfoort, the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce 65085639, VAT NL002231868B21. Version of 1 August 2026.
