1. Who is responsible for your data

1.1: IBO Computers, Radonweg 10, 3812 RL Amersfoort, the Netherlands, is the data controller for the personal data processed through ibo-computers.nl and in our workshop. Chamber of Commerce 65085639, VAT NL002231868B21.
1.2: If you have a question about your data or would like to make a request, please e-mail [email protected]. You can call us on working days on +31 (0)33 207 5050; via WhatsApp and e-mail we are available day and night.
1.3: We are a small company and do not have a separate data protection officer. Your question therefore comes straight to us and is handled by us personally.

2. Which data we process

2.1: When you place an order: your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, the order itself and the invoice details.
2.2: When you create an account: the same data, plus your password. We store that in encrypted form; we cannot read it either.
2.3: When you subscribe to the newsletter: your e-mail address.
2.4: When you contact us: your name, your e-mail address or telephone number and the content of your message.
2.5: When you have a repair carried out: which device it concerns, what the fault is and what we have done. We only open files on your device when that is necessary for the repair. Always make your own backup before leaving a device with us.
2.6: Automatically when you visit the website: your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser. This data ends up in our server logs and we use it to solve faults and prevent misuse.

3. What we use it for and on what legal basis

3.1: Processing, delivering and invoicing your order and handling warranty or returns. Legal basis: performance of the contract we have with you.
3.2: Contacting you about your order, your repair or your question. Legal basis: performance of the contract, or your request to us.
3.3: Our administration and our tax returns. Legal basis: a legal obligation.
3.4: Sending the newsletter with new stock and offers. Legal basis: your consent. Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by sending us a message.
3.5: Securing the shop, preventing fraud and solving faults. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working and safe shop.
3.6: We do not sell your data, we do not rent it out and we do not use it for profiling or automated decision-making.

4. Cookies

4.1: Our shop places functional cookies only. There are five of them: OCSESSID and PHPSESSID keep track of your session and your shopping cart, language and ibo_taal remember your language choice and currency remembers your currency.
4.2: We use no Google Analytics, no advertising cookies and no social media trackers. Our pages do not load any third-party scripts. Your browsing behaviour is therefore not tracked here.
4.3: Functional cookies do not require consent. That is why you will not see a cookie notice on our site.
4.4: You can delete or block cookies in your browser. The shopping cart and the language choice may then no longer work properly.

5. Who we share data with

5.1: Mollie processes the payments. You enter your payment details with Mollie itself; we do not see your full bank account or credit card number. We only receive confirmation of whether the payment succeeded.
5.2: PostNL, DHL and DPD deliver your order. They receive your name and address, and your e-mail address or telephone number if you wish to receive a delivery notification. If we deliver ourselves in the Amersfoort area, no carrier is involved.
5.3: Strato hosts our server. That server is located in Germany, so your data stays within the European Union.
5.4: Our bookkeeping and the Dutch Tax Administration receive the invoice details we are legally required to provide.
5.5: Where the law obliges us to do so, we provide data to the competent authorities.
5.6: We send the newsletter from our own system. Your e-mail address therefore does not go to an external newsletter service.
5.7: We share nothing beyond this. We never sell or rent your data to third parties.

6. How long we keep data

6.1: Invoices, orders and the related administration are kept for 7 years. That is the statutory tax retention period, from which we cannot deviate.
6.2: We keep your account details for as long as you have an account with us. If you close it, we delete everything we are not legally required to keep.
6.3: We keep your newsletter subscription until you unsubscribe.
6.4: Messages about a repair or a warranty case are kept until 2 years after completion, so that we still have the history if you come back to us.
6.5: Our server logs are kept for a maximum of 12 months.

7. How we protect your data

7.1: The entire shop runs over a secure connection (SSL/TLS). You can recognise this by the padlock in your browser's address bar.
7.2: Passwords are stored in encrypted form. We cannot read your password either; if you lose it, you can only set a new one.
7.3: Only the staff who need it for their work have access to customer data.
7.4: We keep the server and the shop software up to date with updates.
7.5: If you notice anything that does not look right, please let us know at [email protected]. We take such reports seriously.

8. Your rights

8.1: Access: you may request which data we hold about you.
8.2: Rectification: if your data is not correct, we will put it right.
8.3: Erasure: you may ask us to delete your data, except for what we are legally required to keep.
8.4: Restriction: you may ask us to put the use of your data on hold temporarily.
8.5: Objection: you may object to the use of your data, for example for the newsletter.
8.6: Portability: you may receive your data in a common file format so that you can take it with you.
8.7: Withdrawing consent: if you have given consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
8.8: Please send a request to [email protected]. We will respond within one month. To prevent us from giving data to the wrong person, we may ask you to identify yourself.
8.9: If you disagree with the way we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl). Naturally we would rather hear it from you first, so that we can put it right.
