New Sealed : New hardware comes in the original, unopened packaging from the manufacturer.
New Blank : New hardware comes in blank (plain) packaging.
New Open Box : New hardware comes in the original, opened packaging, for example because an order was cancelled or because we checked the product.
Demo : The product has been used as a demonstration or display model, for example in a shop or at a trade fair.
Renew : The product has been reassembled using refurbished or new parts. The product shows no or minimal signs of wear, scratches or cosmetic defects and looks like new.
Refurbished - A+ : The product shows no or minimal signs of wear, scratches or cosmetic defects and looks like new.
Refurbished - A : The product may show a few minor cosmetic defects, such as light scratches, but this does not affect how the product works.
Refurbished - B : The product may show some visible signs of wear such as scratches, dents or discolouration, but this does not affect how the product works.
Refurbished - C : The product may show significant signs of wear, scratches, dents or other cosmetic defects, which affect the appearance of the product. However, this does not affect how the product works.
New products : New hardware is covered by the manufacturer's own warranty. The term is stated with the product, and you can always check the warranty status with the manufacturer using the serial number. Not sure what applies to your device? Send us the serial number and we will look it up for you.
Business models: on-site service : Most of the devices we sell are business models, and these usually come with on-site service — often the next working day. You are welcome to contact the manufacturer directly; that is normally the fastest route, because an engineer comes to you. Would you rather not arrange it yourself? Then we will do it for you.
Refurbished products : IBO Computers provides a minimum 2-year warranty on all refurbished hardware. Every product is fully tested in our own workshop before shipping.
In-house technical service : Repairs under our own warranty are carried out by our own team in Amersfoort, down to component level. No waiting times at external service centres.
Hardware only : The warranty covers the hardware. Software is not included: an operating system that was not installed correctly, programs you installed yourself, viruses and other malicious software, and data loss. We are happy to sort out such problems for you, but that is paid service and not warranty work.
Also not covered by the warranty : Damage caused by drops, moisture or improper use, and normal wear and tear (such as gradual battery capacity loss).
Right of return : As a consumer, you also have a 14-day right of return after receiving your order.
